Welcome to Saint Patrick Parish in Erie, the "Spirit of the Bayfront"  since 1837; standing as the oldest Catholic Parish in the city. We strive to be a welcoming community dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus, not only within our walls but to the  entire Erie area. Today we are known for our outreach to the poor, the homeless and the hungry.
Our current church building (the parish's third) was begun in 1897 and the first mass was celebrated on Christmas Day 1906. The building is literally known world wide for our life-size hand carved wooden Stations of the Cross, our massive hand painted windows and amazing column free architecture.
As beautiful as our building is, it pales in comparison to the beauty of the people of Saint Patrick Parish. They are a welcoming, joyful people who believe in giving an hour of worship to the Lord each Sunday and who work to make each moment of their lives, moments of worship. Come experience the "Spirit of the Bayfront".
