Welcome! Yes, welcome to Saint Patrick Parish  in Erie, Pa.  We were established in
1837 as the first Roman Catholic Parish in the city.  Saint Patrick's served as the
Pro-Cathedral from the establishment of the Diocese of Erie in 1853 until 1903.
Our current church building (our third) is known for the beauty of its stained glass windows
and life-sized Stations of the Cross. However, the beauty of our building pales when
compared  to the beauty of our people.  We exist to meet the spiritual, physical and
emotional needs of our members as well as those of the people of the lower east side of Erie regardless of denomination.   We worship together as a community of Roman Catholic believers and everyone is welcome.  We support one another's values and beliefs. We nurture the faith of our members in a variety of ways including adult education, Religious Education and many opportunities for prayer.
