Annual Events
We Watched Him Die -- This powerful play depicts the strengths and weaknesses, the fears and hopes of those who witnessed the death of our Lord. Held each year on Passion (Palm) Sunday and Good Friday, members of "Saint Patrick Players" and the "Saint Patrick Choir" portray Mary the mother of Jesus, Peter, Nicodemus, Mary of Magdala, and Judas to name a few. You will never look at Good Friday and Easter the same.
IN 2009 "WE WATCHED HIM DIE" WILL BE PERFORMED ON PASSION SUNDAY, APRIL 5th at 4:00 PM AND AGAIN ON GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 10th, at 8:00 PM IN SAINT PATRICK CHURCH
The Erie Saint Patrick's Day Parade -- Sponsored by Saint Patrick Parish and the Knights and Ladies of Saint Patrick, the parade is held on the Saturday before March 17th or on Saint Patrick's Day itself if it falls on the Saturday. Featuring local bands and groups from throughout the greater Erie Community, the parade launches at 11th and State Streets and ends at Saint Patrick Chruch.
IN 2009 THE ERIE SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE WILL BE HELD MARCH 14th BEGINNING AT 2:00 PM
